Dental Implants in Turkey - Moussa's Journey
Moussa came to us after undergoing dental implant treatment in Turkey.
Attracted by promises of fast and affordable treatment, he had several implants placed at a clinic that appeared to have a very good reputation, but the result did not meet expectations. He contacted us the day after returning from Turkey because the pain was too severe.
During our initial assessment, we identified an inaccurate prosthetic position, inappropriate tooth size, and problems with bite and occlusion, affecting both the aesthetics and functionality of his rehabilitation.

Problems With the Previous Prostheses
The previous prostheses had a very large artificial gum section, which was highly visible.
Nothing was properly aligned. The fixation was crooked, and there was a large gap between the gums and the prosthesis, allowing food to get inside and become trapped.
Most importantly, it was painful.
“I constantly felt tension around my cheekbones, as if everything was permanently under pressure. The height of the teeth and the bite were not properly adjusted. Even though the ‘surgeon’ filed down my teeth, this caused pain as well as problems with saliva and speech.

The Moment We Removed the Prostheses
As soon as the surgeon removed the prosthesis that had been made in Turkey, I felt immediate relief.
After the complete failure of my dental implant treatment in Turkey, I felt an immense sense of relief when the tension in my jaws and the bone pain finally disappeared.
Deep down, I knew that something was wrong. Dr. Kiril confirmed my concerns: an infection had developed because food debris had become trapped beneath the prosthesis, just one month after it had been fitted in Turkey.
Fortunately, despite the situation, the implant treatment itself was not as disastrous as I had feared. None of the implants had to be removed or replaced, which was an enormous relief in my case.
The results
