The fundamental principle is that the warranty applies if the patient complies with the terms provided by the healthcare facility (general terms & conditions and prophylaxis). In particular, the patient must follow all follow-up controls and instructions given by the surgeon. Furthermore, the patient must meticulously maintain and care for the dental work provided.
Exclusions / Invalidating Conditions:
- If the patient already had dental implants placed at another clinic
- If the patient fails to provide proof of at least one check-up visit with their dentist (including a control panoramic X-ray within 6 months)
- If postoperative instructions are not followed
- If the patient receives additional dental treatments at another dental practice
- If the patient neglects the required cleaning and maintenance of the dental prosthesis
- If damage occurs due to an accident, such as a sports-related or auto accident
- If the patient develops a medical condition that negatively impacts jaw, tooth, or prosthetic health (e.g., diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, post-chemotherapy condition, etc.)
- If the total cost of the treatments rendered has not been fully paid
